The sunroof can be electronically opened and closed in order to allow natural light to brighten the lecture hall or to achieve confidentiality and focus during the lecture. By doing this we can decrease the energy usage through natural light. Moreover, the sunroof acts as a moving platform for students and staff to enter from the upper ground and proceed through the stairs and into the lecture hall.

The wooden beams can be controlled moving vertically in order to control the amount of sunlight into the room. During the day, the beams are raised to brighten the room with natural light. Moreover, during summer, the beams act as a shade to keep the room cool.

The building is connected to the square house where the technology is due to the additional workshops and facilities there. Students and staff are recommended to walk through the main entrance since there is a large grass area and we want to promote humanity's connection with nature.
